Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Mahikeng, North West. The role oversees production operations, leads a team of operators, and ensures GMP and safety compliance to produce high-quality medicines.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree and several years in pharma manufacturing, including supervisory experience. The position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the flexibility to work shifts and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong GMP knowledge and adherence to safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production operators and allocate tasks effectively.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, batch production, and material handling.
• Ensure GMP, SOPs and safety regulations are followed.
• Monitor performance, address deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Train and develop staff on quality and safety requirements.
• Maintain batch records, logbooks and deviation reports.
• Collaborate with QA, QC and Engineering to resolve issues.
