Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Payroll Administrator to manage payroll remotely for our Rustenburg operations. This role demands high accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to SA payroll legislation, ensuring employees are paid on time and accurately.

You will handle full-cycle payroll bi-weekly, respond to payroll inquiries, and maintain compliant records while supporting HR and Finance functions in a fully remote capacity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Payroll Administrator.
• In-depth knowledge of South African payroll legislation (PAYE, UIF, SDL).
• Proficiency with VIP Payroll, Sage VIP, and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll accurately for all employees on a bi-weekly basis.
• Manage payroll-related inquiries with timely responses.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, tax regulations, and payroll policies.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports to authorities.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records (new hires, terminations, status changes).
• Administer employee benefits deductions and contributions with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
