Job summary

Morgan Industries Limited in Ermelo, Mpumalanga, South Africa is seeking a diligent Parts Department Manager to drive profitability and meet supplier and dealership targets. You will maintain tight inventory control and ensure stock availability across OEM parts.

Responsibilities include stock level monitoring, managing outgoing cash, performing regular stock takes, and leading a high-performance team to maximize sales and customer satisfaction in a busy parts environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate
• Minimum of 1 year managerial experience
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years' parts experience
• Exceptional communication skills
• Exceptional customer service
• Clear criminal record
• Computer literate

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels daily to ensure relevant manufacturer stock levels are maintained.
• Manage cash outstanding on a daily basis.
• Manage and actively clear out aged stock.
• Conduct stock takes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Ensure Parts Sales Target and Profitability are met.
• Ensure Customer Satisfaction.
• Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies.
• Manage Team for High Performance Culture.
• To visit distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets and shops to sell parts and accessories
• To ensure all exchange items are returned.
• To ensure company discount structure is properly applied.
• To care for company property and ensure economic use e.g. car/delivery van.
