Qualifikationen

• Grade 12 certificate is required.
• 1 year managerial experience minimum.
• 3–5 years parts experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Clear criminal record and computer literacy required.

Aufgaben

• Monitor stock levels daily to maintain manufacturer stock levels.
• Manage daily cash outstanding.
• Clear out aged stock regularly.
• Conduct stock takes weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly.
• Achieve parts sales targets and profitability.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies.
• Lead a team for high performance culture.
• Visit distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets and shops to sell parts and accessories.
• Ensure exchange items are returned and discount structure is applied.
• Care for company property and ensure economical use of assets.

Main Purpose of Job

The successful candidate will have to ensure the profitability of the Parts Department. The successful candidate will furthermore be responsible to ensure manufacturer and dealership targets are met. Lastly, the candidate would need to have strict control over inventory.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels daily to ensure relevant manufacturer stock levels are maintained.


• Manage cash outstanding on a daily basis.


• Manage and actively clear out aged stock.


• Conduct stock takes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.


• Ensure Parts Sales Target and Profitability are met.


• Ensure Customer Satisfaction.


• Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies.


• Manage Team for High Performance Culture.


• To visit distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets and shops to sell parts and accessories


• To ensure all exchange items are returned.


• To ensure company discount structure is properly applied.
