Job summary

Our client, a specialised recruitment consultancy, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist with a focus on the wine industry to join their team in Paarl, Western Cape. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for wineries, vineyards and related businesses.

You will source and engage skilled professionals including winemakers, viticulturists, sales managers and hospitality staff, building a robust talent pipeline and delivering exceptional service to clients in the wine sector.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in recruitment, preferably in agriculture, hospitality, FMCG or wine.
• Proven ability to source and place candidates across roles.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for wine industry roles including viticulture, oenology, sales, marketing, hospitality and operations.
• Develop strong relationships with wine sector clients and understand their needs and culture.
• Source candidates through networks, events and targeted advertising with wine-industry focus.
• Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to match role requirements.
• Advise clients on talent acquisition strategies, market trends and compensation in wine.
• Negotiate offers and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
• Maintain and grow a robust pipeline of qualified wine-industry talent.
• Stay updated on SA wine industry developments, challenges and opportunities.
• Collaborate with the team to share market intelligence and best practices.
