Placements24 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, is seeking a Wine Industry Recruitment Specialist to source and place talent across the wine value chain—from vineyard to winery, marketing to hospitality. The role blends in-office collaboration in Stellenbosch with remote flexibility.

You will build networks with wineries and agricultural businesses, assess candidates for technical and commercial roles, and manage end-to-end recruitment while staying ahead of industry trends and legislation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruitment with focus on wine, agriculture, or hospitality sectors.
• Experience sourcing and placing candidates for technical, operational, or commercial roles in these sectors.
• Strong understanding of the wine production lifecycle and related business functions.
• Excellent networking within Stellenbosch and Western Cape wine regions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with wineries and wine businesses in the Western Cape.
• Source and place candidates for Viticulturists, Winemakers, Cellar Hands and related roles.
• Assess candidates’ skills, experience, and passion for the wine industry.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes with a high-quality candidate/ client experience.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and market demands.
• Build a robust talent pool within wine and agricultural sectors.
• Provide market insights and recruitment advice to clients.
• Attend industry events to network and improve sourcing.
