Job summary

ShopriteX is seeking a capable leader to head a team of controllers supporting the Pingo driver network. You will monitor performance, manage escalations and drive KPI improvements while ensuring adherence to SLAs for customers.

You will coach controllers, coordinate shift handovers and work with HR on attendance and IR matters, fostering continuous improvement and collaboration across shifts.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent at NQF level 4 (essential).
• Diploma in supply chain management or equivalent at NQF level 5 (preferred).
• Code B Driver's License (essential).
• Own reliable car (essential).
• At least 3 years working experience in an operations environment (essential).

Responsibilities

• Monitor order pipeline and flow from pick to delivery.
• Provide team stats, analyses and recommendations to improve KPIs.
• Escalate stores behind SLA and manage exceptions to prevent delays.
• Manage driver attendance and shift handovers for continuity.
• Provide regular training and feedback to Controllers.
• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across control centre staff.
• Work with other Team Leaders to ensure aligned leadership.
• Address employee relations matters with HR and manage attendance.
• Participate in post-incident debriefs to identify lessons learned.
• Identify system improvements and report challenges for action.
