Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Operations Process Engineer to join their Kimberley operation. The role focuses on analyzing and improving workflows, boosting efficiency, and implementing cost-effective process improvements across departments.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of process engineering/operations experience.
Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement techniques.
Proficiency in process analysis, mapping, and data interpretation.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Analyze current operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement process enhancements using lean methodologies and data-driven approaches.
Create process flow diagrams, SOPs, and work instructions.
Collaborate with operational teams to train staff on new processes and ensure adoption.
Monitor process performance, collect data, and report on key metrics and results.
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve operational effectiveness.
