Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Management Consultant specializing in Operations Excellence to join our client in Kimberley, Northern Cape. You will diagnose operational challenges, design improvement initiatives, and support implementation across value chains to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

You will apply rigorous analytical methodologies, lead workshops, develop KPIs, and mentor junior staff while traveling to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive management consulting, operations management, or supply chain experience.
• Proven experience leading operational improvement initiatives, with cost reduction focus.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and other CI methodologies (certification is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic and design phases of operational improvement projects.
• Analyze complex operational processes to identify inefficiencies and root causes.
• Develop and implement Lean, Six Sigma and TQM-based solutions.
• Facilitate workshops with client teams to drive process improvements.
• Develop KPIs and monitoring systems to sustain gains.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder relationships.
• Prepare high-quality reports and presentations detailing findings and recommendations.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing.
