Job summary

Altron is seeking an Optimisation, Improvement & Automation Manager in Midrand to lead performance measurement, operational improvement and the automation portfolio within Recoveries. You will shape how the operation is measured, improved and enabled through data-driven programs.

The role requires designing frameworks, managing the improvement pipeline, and delivering measurable gains in service, efficiency and scalability. A strategic leadership position with a strong analytics focus.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Operations Management.
Minimum 5 years in Process Improvement, Business Transformation, Operational Analytics, Automation programmes.
Minimum 2 years leading cross-functional improvement initiatives.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Design and implement operational performance frameworks with KPIs, targets, baselines and reporting standards.
Develop performance reporting systems providing leaders with a single source of insight.
Lead regular performance reviews with operational leaders and drive corrective actions.
Analyse cycle times, workloads and outcomes to identify improvement opportunities.
Own end-to-end improvement pipeline from opportunity to benefits realisation.
Lead root-cause analyses to address recurring challenges and escalations.
Pilot process improvements, evaluate outcomes and scale successful initiatives.
Develop and maintain process documentation.
