Job summary

Pedros Chicken in South Africa seeks a Junior Operations Manager to drive an Operations Management Framework across the organisation. You will support sustainability and profitability for stakeholders while expanding the brand's scope and clientele.

You will ensure SOP adherence, manage store operations, hit sales and GP targets, lead and coach the team, and assist franchise partners with troubleshooting and customer issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Marketing/Business Development / Business Administration qualification.
• Franchise/Corporate Store experience required.
• GAAP / Micros accounting experience required.
• At least 2 years' experience as a Junior Operations Manager.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational issues at stores.
• Oversee quality control and SOP compliance.

• Ensure quality and optimal SOP compliance.
• Set guidelines to maximise turnover, food cost, and expenses.
• Assist franchise partners with troubleshooting.
• Address customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Review weekly store reports.
• Plan, organize, lead and control subordinates to meet store objectives.
• Coach and develop the team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Implement Operations Management Framework across the organisation
2. Support and enable the sustainability and profitability of existing and potential stakeholders
3. Expand the scope, growth, and clientele of the brand
4. Ensure that standard operating procedures are maintained and followed through, maintaining the required service standards
5. Proven ability to manage operational issues at stores
6. Proven ability to manage quality control and compliance in line with SOP
7. Ability to achieve sales and GP% target
8. People management
9. Handling all operational issues for allocated stores
10. Ensuring quality and optimal compliance with SOP
11. Setting guidelines to ensure turnover, food cost, and operational expenses are managed to maximise net profitability
12. Assisting Franchise partners in trouble shooting
13. Attending to customer complaints and implementing corrective action
14. Attending to weekly reports on stores
15. People Management - Plan, organise, lead and control subordinates to ensure store objectives are met or exceeded
16. Coach and develop the team
