Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants are seeking an Operations Leader to oversee multi-store operations across regions, ensuring consistency and excellence. The role focuses on leadership of Area Managers and Store Managers while managing budgets, labour costs, and compliance with food safety and OHS standards.

You will drive training and performance development, coordinate product launches and campaigns with internal teams, and travel within South Africa as required.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years’ multi‑unit or multi‑site operational management experience within the F&B or QSR industry.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, store financials, and labour cost management.
• Good knowledge of food safety regulations, OHS standards, and HR practices.
• Strong planning, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 5–8 years’ multi‑unit or multi‑site operational management experience within the F&B or QSR industry.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing managers and teams.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, store financials, and labour cost management.
• Good knowledge of food safety regulations, OHS standards, and relevant HR practices.
• Strong planning, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Oracle or Micros back‑office experience advantageous.
• Fluent in English.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Willing and able to travel within South Africa when required.
