Job summary

RGA in Cape Town seeks an experienced Operations professional to drive operational excellence across the Individual business. You will analyze client data issues, lead improvements, and support onboarding while coordinating with internal teams for sustained knowledge transfer.

The role emphasizes technical operations projects for Claims and Premiums, ensuring data integrity and effective controls across processes in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Insurance Operations (Reinsurance preferred).
• Post-secondary education in Business/Finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation and resolution of complex client data issues, identifying root causes.
• Identify, recommend and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and controls.
• Develop, document, and maintain operational procedures and standards.
• Provide guidance and training to Operations teams on processes and best practices.
• Manage client and internal stakeholder relationships and support onboarding activities.
• Lead technical operations projects for Claims and Premiums, including reconciliations and data remediation.
• Oversee data integrity and system exception resolution across operations.
