Job summary

Concentrix in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a large, regulated insurance operation serving a UK home insurance client. You will steer day-to-day activities, develop leadership capability, and drive continuous improvement while balancing customer, commercial, and compliance priorities.

The role requires strong operational judgement, a track record of delivering results, and the ability to build trusted client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager in large, fast-paced operations.
• UK financial services experience preferred, especially in insurance.
• Experience working in regulated environments with compliance focus.
• Track record of delivering results against changing metrics.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships in high-accountability settings.
• Strong operational judgement with risk-based decision making.
• Ability to use data and insights to drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of 120 personnel and 8–9 Team Leaders.
• Drive improvements across sales, service, and claims support.
• Deliver KPI targets for client and operations.
• Monitor performance data to identify trends and risks.
• Implement improvement plans balancing commercial and regulatory needs.
• Ensure adherence to client and Concentrix compliance standards.
• Cultivate accountability and continuous improvement culture.
• Develop Team Leader capability and consistency.
• Motivate Leaders to manage front-line advisors.
• Provide updates on performance, plans, risks to client.
• Demonstrate maturity and sound judgement in high-visibility client env.
• Foster internal collaboration to ensure account success.
