Job summary

On Line Personnel in Ballito is seeking an Operations Assistant to support daily logistics, order processing and customer communications. The role requires strong numeracy, data handling and administrative accuracy to ensure efficient operations.

You will manage Sales Orders in Business Central, liaise with supervisors on stock requests, and maintain timely order updates while upholding high standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or Matric with strong numeracy and admin skills.
• Minimum 3–5 years in an Operations environment.
• Proven ability to capture, analyse and present data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Process and record customer collection nominations accurately.
• Provide daily customer updates according to the distribution list.
• Create and manage Sales Orders in BC, including payment follow-up.
• Process contractual orders and coordinate amendments with management.
• Liaise with Supervisors on ad hoc stock requests and orders.
• Follow operational procedures, including vehicle verification and order release controls.
• Track and report orders, updating automated reporting systems as required.
• Ensure stock issuance stays within authorised limits and report exceptions.
