Job summary

You will assist remote support teams, perform basic device checks, cabling, rack mounting, and follow documented procedures. Qualifications include a degree or diploma and 2+ years of experience, plus CCNA preference. Travel to client sites may be required and strong troubleshooting is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience with console connections and network device installation.
• Familiarity with structured cabling and patch panels.
• Ability to follow technical instructions accurately and work within documented procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with remote technical teams.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite assistance to enable remote troubleshooting and remediation.
• Connect to network devices via console and follow instructions from Remote Support Team.
• Provide physical access support (rack access, device location, power cycling).
• Verify LED status, link status, alarms, and cabling condition; report findings.
• Rack mount/unmount devices; patch and dress cables to professional standards.
• Coordinate with Remote Support Team for post-install verification.
• Perform basic configuration steps only as instructed and approved.
