Job summary

The role includes diagnosing hardware and software issues across Windows and Linux environments and supporting a range of software applications.

You will handle helpdesk requests, perform backups and routine maintenance, and ensure peripherals are installed and functioning.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• A+, N+ will be an advantage.
• MAC knowledge may be an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• This position involves standby and shifts; own reliable transport is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents across Windows and Linux.
• Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets promptly.
• Assist with system updates, patches, and backups.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
• Perform regular maintenance checks for optimal system performance.
• Handle hardware repairs and replacements as necessary.
