Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience onsite supporting customers.
• CompTIA Network+ certification is required.
• Experience with service level agreements and maintenance.
• Background in networking and telecoms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Certifications such as MTA/MCSA/MCSE are advantageous.
• ITIL Foundation certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Install, set up, maintain and train users on systems, hardware, services, networks, and software.
• Set up, maintain or repair computer equipment and related devices.
• Install and troubleshoot networking equipment.
• Handle service activities (onsite or telephonic) within SLA timeframes.
• Train users on new hardware or software.
• Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned.
• Administration: troubleshoot and respond to multichannel tickets within SLA, update written entries clearly, log time, and manage escalations.
• Maintain ITSM logs, close tickets, and adhere to escalation matrices and RACI.
• Manage technician idle time and escalations related to IT infrastructure.
• Site Survey & Documentation: prepare technical reports and daily/monthly incident and change management reporting.
• Provide timely daily reports to stakeholders.
• Customer Centricity: respond promptly to inquiries, provide updates, protect data under POPI, and exceed customer expectations.

• Other: participate in rotational shifts including nights and weekends.
