Job summary

Excis is hiring an Onsite IT Support Engineer L2 in Cape Town to provide first- and second-line support for VIP users and staff. The role is site-based, with a focus on hardware/software troubleshooting across Windows and Mac platforms, device deployment, and incident management.

The ideal candidate has a degree in computer science or related field and relevant certifications, plus hands-on experience with AD, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• CompTIA A+ or MCP or better preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level support for customer issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software on Windows and Mac OS.
• Build and deploy PCs, patch network points, resolve printer and connectivity issues.
• Install, upgrade and support desktops, laptops, printers, and apps.
• Maintain site documentation and knowledgebase articles.
• Collaborate with internal teams and Band 3 Engineers to resolve tickets.
• Manage incidents and IMACs; follow up for SLA compliance.
