Job summary

Motus GWM is seeking a Field Services Technician to provide effective onsite IT support for employees, dealerships and business units across the Bloemfontein region. You will diagnose hardware, software, OS and peripheral issues, perform workstation builds and manage asset records.

The role requires hands-on delivery, collaboration with IT teams, adherence to ITIL processes and strong customer service. Travel to Motus sites within the region may be required, with journeyman level troubleshooting

Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric.
IT-related qualification, diploma or relevant technical certification would be advantageous.
Approximately 2–3 years of experience in desktop support, end-user computing or onsite IT support, preferably in a multi-site corporate environment.
Experience troubleshooting Windows desktops and laptops; installing and supporting end-user hardware/software.
Experience working with a ticketing system and IT service-management processes.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite IT support to Motus employees and dealerships.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS and peripheral issues.
Manage incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system with accurate notes.
Support Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications; assist with onboarding and device deployment.
Coordinate site visits and equipment refreshes; maintain asset records and documentation.
Follow ITIL-based incident management, escalation and SLA practices.
