Job summary

SavageOne Pty Ltd in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative for a short-term project focused on building and executing a B2B outbound sales strategy, while also managing inbound leads as needed.

The ideal candidate will prospect financial institutions, credit-related businesses, and short-term loan providers via calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach; qualify opportunities fast and hand them over to the sales team; and track activity in HubSpot CRM.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years SDR/BDR/Inside Sales experience.
• Proven B2B outbound sales track record.
• Experience with structured sales cycles (24-hour cycles advantageous).
• Proficiency with HubSpot CRM.
• Strong objection-handling capabilities.
• Experience in financial industry sectors preferred.
• Must be locally based and onsite daily.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an outbound B2B prospecting strategy.
• Manage inbound leads and qualify them for handover.
• Conduct high-volume prospecting to identify opportunities.
• Handle objections professionally and maintain pipeline.
• Track activity and pipeline in HubSpot CRM.
• Collaborate with sales to refine messaging and outbound strategies.
