Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control and financial aspects of commercial and industrial projects in Klerksdorp, North West. This pivotal role involves cost estimation, tender evaluation, contract administration, and ensuring projects remain within budgetary constraints.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, with 8+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of SMM2, JBCC

Qualifikationen

• Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor on commercial/industrial projects.
• In-depth knowledge of measurement standards (e.g., SMM2) and contract forms (e.g., JBCC, FIDIC).
• Proficiency with quantity surveying software and estimation tools.

Aufgaben

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for tender submissions.
• Evaluate tenders, negotiate with subcontractors, and award contracts.
• Administer construction contracts, including managing variations, claims, and payments.
• Monitor project expenditure, track costs, and prepare financial reports.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities of work performed.
