Placements24 is seeking a Site Quantity Surveyor for Paarl, Western Cape. You will manage on-site costs, prepare interim payment applications, value variations, and support final accounts.

The role requires a Bachelors/ND Quantity Surveying, 4+ years on-site experience, and strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and software. You will collaborate with project teams on-site to ensure profitability and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related construction field.
• Minimum of 4 years on-site Quantity Surveyor experience.

Responsibilities

• Measure and value the on-site work for interim payment applications.
• Price variations and change orders promptly and accurately.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts.
• Administer sub-contracts including tendering, negotiation, and placement.
• Monitor project expenditure and identify potential cost overruns.
• Assist in preparing the final account for projects.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and site staff on commercial matters.
• Maintain records of all site financial transactions and documentation.
• Identify risks and opportunities affecting project costs.
