Placements24 is seeking a Site Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team in Benoni, Gauteng. The role is site-based, focusing on measuring, costing, and financial control to keep projects within budget and contractual obligations.

You will work closely with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost records and timely payments, with a clear path for professional growth in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably site-based.

Aufgaben

• Measure and price bills of quantities and prepare cost estimates.
• Manage interim payment applications and final account settlements.
• Monitor project costs, track expenses, and report on financial performance.
• Prepare and manage variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities.
• Assist in procurement processes and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Maintain accurate cost records and documentation.
• Collaborate with site management teams to control project expenditure.
• Identify potential cost overruns and implement mitigation strategies.
