Placements24 is seeking a Site Quantity Surveyor for a contract role based in East London, Eastern Cape. The role focuses on managing commercial aspects on site, including cost control, contract administration, and financial reporting, with close collaboration with the site team, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Competenze

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with practical site-based work.
• Familiarity with JBCC and NEC contracts.
• Proficient in measurement and cost estimation techniques.

Mansioni

• Assist in budgets, cost estimates, and tender analysis.
• Measure and value subcontractor work on site.
• Prepare and submit interim payment applications and manage variations.
• Monitor site expenditure and prepare cost reports on a regular basis.
• Administer subcontracts and ensure contract compliance.
• Procure materials and services on site, obtain quotations, negotiate prices.
• Assist in final accounts settlement of projects.
• Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate site records related to costs, contracts and variations.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and contractual obligations.
