Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for an on-site role in Soweto, Gauteng. You will drive strategic initiatives that fuel business growth and operational enhancement, manage projects from conception to completion, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years in project management, strong stakeholder management, and proficiency with PM tools like MS Project and Asana. A retail/consumer goods background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in project management focusing on strategic initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of business operations, market dynamics, and strategic planning.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Asana.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
• Experience in retail or consumer goods is a plus.
• On-site role in Soweto, Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of strategic initiatives, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure project success.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and resource utilization, providing regular status updates to senior management.
• Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices.
