Placements24 is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a prominent non-profit delivering essential services in Gauteng. Based in Randburg, this on-site role oversees facilities, staff, and logistics to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in business/operations and at least five years' experience in operations management, preferably in the non-profit sector. Strong leadership, budgeting, and process-improvement skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in non-profit organizations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources and staff.
• Strong understanding of operational best practices and process improvement.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the organization, including administration, facilities, and logistics.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage budgets for operational expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Supervise and mentor administrative and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and other relevant legal regulations.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes.
• Oversee the maintenance and utilization of organizational assets and facilities.
• Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies.
