Placements24 is partnering with a rapidly growing non-profit in Pretoria, Gauteng, to hire an Operations Manager. The role oversees daily operations, facilities, budgeting, HR, and compliance to support program delivery and organizational growth in the Pretoria region and beyond.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Management, 5+ years in operations within non-profits, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in non-profit.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and HR functions.
• Strong understanding of non-profit governance and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administrative and operational functions.
• Develop and implement efficient operational policies and procedures.
• Manage facilities, including office space, equipment, and supplies.
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting with finance.
• Manage HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and relations.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance.
• Develop vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Implement and maintain IT systems to support operations.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
