Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Mechanical Installation Technician for Upington. You will install, assemble, and commission complex mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to precise specifications and safety standards.

The role involves routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and maintaining detailed records of work and parts used. A strong mechanical background and the ability to travel to sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar installation role.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment; welding experience a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel to Upington sites.

Responsibilities
