Placements24 is seeking a Technical Installation Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. You will be responsible for on-site installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex systems across Gauteng.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years in technical installation or field service roles.
Strong understanding of networking, hardware and software installation best practices.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Pretoria region.

Responsibilities

Execute on-site installations of hardware and software solutions according to project specifications.
Configure and test newly installed systems to meet performance and security standards.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues during the installation process, providing timely solutions.
Document installation progress, system configurations, and any encountered problems and resolutions.
Liaise with project managers and clients to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
Provide basic user training and support on the installed systems.
