Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Equipment Installation Specialist to join our team in the Tembisa area. You will oversee the end-to-end installation of specialized equipment at client sites, perform testing and calibration, and ensure adherence to installation plans.

The role requires reading technical drawings, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and willingness to travel within the region. On-site training and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

Experience installing, configuring and testing equipment in industrial/technical settings.
Ability to read complex technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
Strong problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail during installation procedures.

Responsibilities

Oversee and execute the complete installation process for equipment at client sites.
Conduct testing and calibration post-installation to verify functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and setup.
Collaborate with engineering/project teams to follow installation plans and timelines.
Provide on-site guidance and basic training to client end-users.
Maintain installation progress records, tests, and deviations.
