Job summary

Premier FMCG is seeking a diligent offload operator to ensure daily checking and offloading of bread and crates on site, maintaining the integrity of the process and uninterrupted operations.

Reporting to the Offloads Supervisor, you will follow standard procedures, manage stock rotation (FIFO) and adhere to SOPs while working weekends and using your own transport.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of bakery industry experience in a similar FMCG role.
• Grade 12 with numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Check offloaded bread and trays according to relevant documentation.
• Follow pipeline offloading sequence.
• Attend daily Invocoms.
• Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO).
• Report back to Offloads Supervisor on offloading matters.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs.

Job Purpose

To ensure daily checking and offloading of bread and crates on site. To ensure the integrity of offloading is never compromised. To provide assistance that enables the offloading process to operate uninterrupted.

Key Responsibilities

• Check offloaded bread and trays according to relevant documentation
• Follow pipeline offloading sequence
• Attend daily Invocoms
• Ensure a correct stock rotation (FIFO)
• Report back on offloading related matters to Offloads Supervisor
• Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures (SOP’s)

Experience and Qualifications

To perform effectively in this role, the following minimum qualifications and work experience are required:

• At least 1-2 years’ bakery industry experience in a similar position inan FMCG environment
• Grade 12 with numerical skills
