Job summary

Premier FMCG invites applications for a Driver role to support the Salesman driver in daily delivery of Premier products. You will assist with loading/unloading, ensure vehicle hygiene and safety, and may handle cash collection where applicable.

Join a pressurised 6-day per week shift, with weekend work on a roaster. Matric/Grade 12 and a valid code 10/CI with PDP are required; 1–2 years FMCG experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years FMCG experience with valid Driver's License code 10/CI and PDP.
• Matric / Grade 12 is required.

Responsibilities

• Check products against loading sheet and sign off.
• Adhere to standard departure times and drive safely.
• Ensure vehicle safety and hygiene at all times.
• Collect cash from customers and cash in daily where applicable.
• Unload products at customer locations and report incidents to transport.
• Work a 6-day week with shift rosters including weekends and some night shifts.

Job Purpose

Assist the Salesman driver in daily delivery of Premier products and where applicable assist the Salesman driver in cash and tray collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Check company products as per loading sheet and sign
• Adhering to standard departure times
• Take responsibility for vehicle safety and hygiene
• Collect cash from the customers and cash in daily (where applicable)
• Offloading of product at customers
• Report all accidents immediately to the transport department and Service Manager

Experience and Qualifications

• 1-2 experience at FMCG & a valid Driver's License code10/CI With PDP
• Matric / Grade 12
