Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater in South Africa seeks an experienced Strata Control Supervisor to lead a team in safe production and operational excellence at our mining operations.

You will coach reporting staff, manage performance, ensure SHE compliance, and drive risk assessments and adherence to QMS and ESG guidelines. The role requires a COM Strata Control Certificate, NQF4 with Mathematics and Science, and 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a related role.
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
• Clear security screening record.
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable).

• Strata Control
• Ensures that safe quality of work is achieved daily by developing and implementing a proactive approach to all safety Strata Control issues in the workplace which requires the effective co-ordination and supervision of the support functions.
• Presents information to management in the form of reports
• Provides advice based on specialist knowledge information received,
• Scrutinize submitted data from the workplace and providing feedback.
• Attends and participates in meetings by providing required information.
• Keeps abreast of latest relevant Strata Control developments, innovations and technologies.
• Assists with the maintenance and updates of relevant policies, procedures and regulations in line with current trends and developments and based on own specialist knowledge.
• Performs any other activities necessary for the effective completion of his / her work.
