Our client is seeking a mature and experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration and operations of their Cape Branch. The role combines office management, financial administration, staff coordination, stakeholder engagement, reporting and support of members affected by muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular disorders.
NGO/NPO experience would be highly advantageous.
Matric plus qualification in Management/Leadership and/or Office Administration
Previous Office Management / administration experience
Valid driver's license – essential
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience with financial administration, banking and reconciliations
Fundraising and/or awareness experience advantageous
Comfortable working some Saturdays
Manage day-to-day branch administration and office operations
Coordinate staff meetings, check-ins, leave and performance discussions
Prepare monthly branch and annual reports
Manage petty cash, banking, EFTs, payments and reconciliations
Oversee budgets, audits and financial administration
Liaise with Social Development and other external stakeholders
Coordinate meetings, events, support groups and fundraising activities
Maintain branch databases, inventory and office records
Coordinate volunteers and bargain shop administration
Provide support to members and walk-in clients
Manage general office correspondence, calls, filing and documentation
