Job summary

The Capital Hotels, Apartments & Resorts is seeking a proactive Front Desk Receptionist in Sandton, Gauteng. You will manage guest check-ins/outs, handle guest accounts and reservations, and support night audit operations while ensuring exceptional service and confidentiality.

We value diligence, presentable appearance, and team collaboration. Relocation costs are the applicant’s responsibility if outside the city. Previous hotel experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent and hospitality qualification or similar.
• Experience in Front Office, Reservations and General Management Procedures is preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills required.
• Able to work shifts and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Maintain guest accounts and process transactions during their stay.
• Attend to special requests from guests.
• Assist with reservations for guests as needed.
• Run Night Audit shifts.
