LexisNexis Legal & Professional in Cape Town, South Africa, is seeking a driven New Business Development Manager to grow our client base in the legal sector and corporate environments. This hunter-focused role targets new logos, engages C-level decision-makers, and demonstrates our solution suite through tailored demonstrations.

You will manage the sales pipeline, collaborate with industry bodies, and drive campaigns to meet revenue targets while expanding our footprint in Africa's legal market.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in business development, solution selling, or B2B sales.
• Experience in software, insurance, telecoms, legal tech, risk, or subscription services.
• Strong ability to engage senior executives, partners and decision-makers.
• Excellent English communication, presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and acquire new business opportunities in the legal sector and selected corporate industries.
• Lead solution-based sales engagements, including client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Research industries and prospective clients to tailor product packages to their requirements.
• Drive targeted sales campaigns and marketing-led activities.
• Represent LexisNexis at industry events, seminars, and conferences; generate and follow up on leads.
