Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an L2 Network Engineer to support, maintain, and troubleshoot our network infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience with routers, switches, WLANs, firewalls, and monitoring tools while collaborating with senior engineers to ensure availability, performance, and security of services.

The role includes incident management, network maintenance, and participation in deployment projects. A focus on continuous learning and certification readiness is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/CS/IS/Engineering or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and availability with management tools.
• Install, configure and maintain routers, switches, WLANs, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain LAN/WAN, WLAN, and security controls.
• Document incidents and resolutions clearly.
• Assist with upgrades, patches and firmware updates.
• Support back-up and recovery processes and maintain diagrams.
• Ensure security policy compliance and assist in vulnerability remediation.
• Support network deployment projects and tests.
• Stay current with networking technologies and certifications.
