Job summary
NTT DATA is seeking an L1 Network Engineer to support, maintain, and troubleshoot our network infrastructure. The role offers hands‑on experience with network equipment, monitoring tools, security technologies, and enterprise IT environments while collaborating with senior engineers to ensure availability and performance.
Ideal candidates have 2-5 years in IT or network support and exposure to enterprise networks, with certification in Huawei, Fortinet, CCNA, or Network+.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of IT or network support experience.
- Internship, graduate program, or practical networking laboratory experience.
- Exposure to enterprise networking environments.
- Experience with Huawei, Fortinet, or similar technologies is advantageous.
- KPIs include incident resolution and network uptime/documentation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and availability using network management tools.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, WLAN APs, firewalls).
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and resolve connectivity issues.
- Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers as required.
- Support LAN, WLAN, and WAN networks.
