Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Pr. Eng. or candidate engineer registration with ECSA.
• 5+ years of experience in the design of water and sanitation infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, WaterCAD, SWMM).
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes, wastewater collection systems, and stormwater management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis for pipe networks, treatment plants, and drainage systems.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, calculations, and tender documents.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations for new projects.
• Ensure designs comply with national water and sanitation standards, environmental regulations, and building codes.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, including site inspections and resolving design queries.
• Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in water and sanitation engineering.
