The ideal candidate will lead with existing relationships, pursue government procurement opportunities, and navigate tender processes to secure project specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' technical sales experience within the lighting, electrical, infrastructure, or related industry.
• Proven track record of selling products or solutions into government and municipal sectors.
• Existing relationships with key stakeholders within municipalities, public works departments, SOEs, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Strong understanding of government procurement and tender processes.
• Working knowledge of CSD registrations and tender compliance requirements.
• Exposure to CIDB contractors and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to identify, pursue, and secure tender and project opportunities.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business within municipalities, government departments, and state-owned entities.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers, procurement officials, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Identify upcoming tenders and project opportunities.
• Promote and secure specification of lighting solutions on projects.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to project completion.
• Conduct technical product presentations and solution-selling activities.
• Monitor competitor activity and market developments.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.
