Job summary

You will develop relationships with electrical wholesalers, retailers, contractors, architects, interior designers, developers and project managers to win new business and secure specifications across commercial, hospitality, residential and retail sectors.

The role covers preparing quotations, product presentations and lighting proposals, advising customers on technical and aesthetic

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of external sales experience, preferably in project sales and specification selling.
• Strong knowledge of lighting products and market segments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• A driven professional with strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with electrical wholesalers, retailers, contractors, architects, interior designers, developers and project managers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within commercial, hospitality, residential and retail sectors.
• Promote and sell decorative, architectural, commercial and smart lighting solutions.
• Prepare quotations, deliver product presentations and develop lighting proposals.
• Assist customers with product selection based on technical and aesthetic requirements.
• Manage projects from enquiry to after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular customer visits and product demonstrations.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor competitor activity and identify market trends.
• Attend industry events, exhibitions and networking functions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project execution.
