Job summary

Eskort Head Office in Irene, Gauteng, seeks a proactive IT Technician to support users across multiple sites. You will handle ticketing requests, diagnose hardware and network issues, and manage user accounts and permissions.

The role requires a diploma/certificate in IT (or CompTIA A+) and up to 3 years in IT support, including Windows 10/11 and macOS. Willingness to travel and after-hours support is expected.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• Diploma or certificate in IT or CompTIA A+ or equivalent.
• Up to 3 years in IT support/help desk, Windows 10/11 experience.
• Experience with macOS and basic network concepts.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to stores and sites.

Responsibilities

• Log, prioritise and resolve IT support requests.
• Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, POS systems, printers and barcode scanners onsite and remotely.
• Diagnose network, Wi‑Fi, router and internet faults.
• Create and manage user accounts, passwords and AD access.
• Travel to stores/sites for repairs and rollouts; support openings and relocations.
