Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Vaal Triangle is seeking an IT Engineer to deliver desktop, network, and basic server support. The role blends remote support most of the year with a 3-month onsite rotation in Piketberg during harvest season.

The candidate should be bilingual (English/Afrikaans), able to manage multiple tickets, and willing to standby outside normal hours. Valid driver’s license and willingness to relocate temporarily are required.

Qualifications

• Matric essential and IT qualification or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in technical support or MSP environment.
• MSP experience essential and multiple client environments a plus.
• Fluent English and Afrikaans, reliable in standby support.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote end-user support via Microsoft 365 tools.
• Install and maintain Windows desktops/laptops and basic servers.
• Monitor systems with RMM and handle tickets end-to-end.
• Travel to Piketberg for 3-month onsite rotations during harvest.
• Maintain documentation and assist with security practices.
