AGC Mining Recruitment Pty Ltd is recruiting for a Project Site Engineer: Control & Instrumentation in the Northern Cape mining sector. The role focuses on leading and coordinating control and instrumentation activities within EPC project environments, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and budget requirements.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, 8–10 years of mining experience, and hands-on expertise with MCC, PLC, DCS, and SCADA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
• 8–10 years of mining or related industry experience.
• Experience with MCC, PLC, DCS, SCADA systems.
• Experience managing greenfield and brownfield control projects from concept to commissioning.
• Knowledge of Mine Health, Safety, and Environmental Management principles.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate all control & instrumentation operations within EPC projects.
• Support SHEQ operations.
• Collaborate with partners to resolve site-related issues.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure standards and safety compliance.
• Track project performance, identify risks, and proactively address issues.
• Ensure activities comply with policies and budget.
• Coordinate between contractors and subcontractors for efficient execution.
