Job summary

The ideal candidate has a B.Degree/B.Tech in mechanical/electrical engineering, GCC, and ECSA registration, with at least eight years of operational engineering and three years in middle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• GCC certification and ECSA registration are required.
• Minimum eight years of operational engineering experience.
• Minimum three years in operational project/middle management.
• Legal appointments per 2.13.1 are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site engineering services and projects to optimise plant performance.
• Provide engineering support to operating plant and optimization efforts.
• Lead contractor management with safety and project goals in mind.
• Support internal teams and ensure seamless operations.
• Develop budgets and manage costs across the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement for efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Ensure SHERQ compliance and risk management across the area.
• Oversee asset and infrastructure maintenance within responsibility scope.
• Provide strategic leadership to sustain long term plant optimisation.
