Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, 8–10 years of mining experience, and hands-on expertise with MCC, PLC, DCS, and SCADA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
• 8–10 years of mining or related industry experience.
• Experience with MCC, PLC, DCS, SCADA systems.
• Experience managing greenfield and brownfield control projects from concept to commissioning.
• Knowledge of Mine Health, Safety, and Environmental Management principles.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Our client in the mining industry is looking for a Project Coordinator - Control & Instrumentation to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will must have extensive experience in the design and execution of projects within the EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) framework.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, direct, manage, and coordinate all control & instrumentation operations within Project EPC functions.
• Support SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) operations.
• Collaborate with business partners to resolve day-to-day engineering and site-related issues.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to project standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Track project performance, identify risks, and proactively resolve potential issues.
• Ensure that project activities are carried out in compliance with company policies and within budget constraints.
• Manage coordination efforts between contractors and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in the mining or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of MCC, PLC, DCS, SCADA, and other relevant systems.
• Proven experience in managing both greenfield and brownfield Control and Instrumentation projects, from concept through to commissioning and project handover.
• In-depth knowledge of Mine Health, Safety, and Environmental Management principles, practices, and statutory requirements.
• A team player with excellent coordination and communication skills.
