Job summary

AGC Mining Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a mining operation in the Northern Cape. You will lead a technical team, oversee electrical maintenance, and ensure optimal availability, reliability, and safety of plant and equipment in a demanding mining environment.

The role requires depth in tools like JD Edwards, Dynamic Production Monitoring System, and QlikView, plus strong supervision skills, contractor management, budget control, and adherence to

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required with a Technical Electrical background.
• Electrical Trade Test (MQA preferred) and First Line Supervision experience.
• Minimum four years in an operational mining/maintenance environment.
• Minimum three years in a team/project leadership or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Drive electrical availability, reliability, productivity and safety through team leadership.
• Supervise maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize operations.
• Oversee contractor management to ensure standards compliance and timely execution of work.
• Control budgets and manage costs to meet financial targets.
• Provide leadership and develop a high-performance team.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Ensure strict SHERQ standards and regulatory compliance.
