Placements24 seeks an experienced Mine Surveyor to support our client near Port Elizabeth. You will establish survey control, measure volumes, and ensure adherence to designs and regulatory requirements for safe, efficient extraction in the Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities include planning surveys, maintaining networks, operating total stations and GPS/GNSS gear, and producing plans for management teams. A Diploma/degree in Mine Surveying and solid field experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Mine Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mine Surveyor, preferably in mining.
• Proficiency with modern surveying instruments and software.
• Experience with underground and/or open‑pit survey methods.
• Strong understanding of survey principles and their mining applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
