Placements24 invites a meticulous Mine Surveyor to join our client in Mossel Bay. This role focuses on surveying for exploration, development, and production, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and modern equipment use.

You will establish survey control networks, map underground and surface workings, prepare mine plans, and monitor progress against targets while ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or degree in Mine Surveying or Geomatics.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Mine Surveyor, preferably in mining.
• Proficiency with modern surveying tools (Leica, Trimble, AutoCAD, Surpac).
• Knowledge of South African mining surveying regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection.
• Ability to work independently and in a technical services team.
